Calendar coasters in lightweight aluminium printed full colour Graphic
Slimline aluminum calendar coasters

Slimline aluminum calendar coasters are like many other promotional products in that they are made in a variety of materials including aluminium, leather, bonded leather, vinyl, melamine, gnalvic, acrylic, PVC, brass and stainless steel…and, as always, it depends on your budget and how you plan to use the calendar coasters.

Your budget may be affected by the number of print colours and that is not quite as simple as
you might first believe. Some supplying companies charge for extra colours to be printed whilst
other suppliers include all printing within the price…even full process colour.

Do you intend to distribute them by hand as single units or perhaps as boxed sets of six or
four? Are they for use at an exhibition or perhaps you have in mind incorporating the product
as part of a direct mail campaign?

However, whichever way you decide to go you can be certain that a calendar coaster is a most
effective and welcome desktop promotional gift. It always seems to hang around and takes up
little room on a desk and is always there portraying your message and contact details.

Layout is something else to think about; are you happy with a six month calendar or do you want
your message to be on the desk for the full twelve months…which it will be with a full yearly
calendar.

Having surveyed the market and collected some samples you may well come to the conclusion that
the ideal size for a calendar coaster is around 6" x 4" or 150mm x 90mm and printed in full
colour. This size is ideal and leaves heaps of space for a clean-cut twelve month calendar with
scope for a marketing message and one or two full colour product photographs.

These days it is comparatively easy to evaluate samples and how your logo will appear for most
suppliers are able to produce finished samples almost at will due to the amazing technological
advances in digital printing. The days are long gone when you held your breath when the final
order was delivered. Today you will get a free sample of your own artwork and then the ultimate
delivery will match the original sample so there is no likelihood of disappointment when you
open the box.

Most coasters are relatively low-cost items and you can put a calendar coaster on a lot of
desks for a small outlay - around a penny a day - and it will keep working all year letting
everybody know the date and, of course, details of your product or service. If this sounds like
an ideal inexpensive promotional gift…it is.

So it all really depends on how you want to present your company image to customers and
prospects…the choice is yours. However, many discerning organizations arrive at the conclusion
that their particular preferred choice is printed in full colour and must be light weight for
low posting costs…and  therefore the answer must be a slimline aluminum calendar coaster.
