Promotional gifts need not be
extravagant
Promotional gifts need not be extravagant; in fact
many standard office consumables such as coasters,
paperweights, desk name plates, calendar coasters, clocks, desk
calendars and diaries are usually appreciated promotional
gifts.
Printed with a marketing message and telephone number,
promotional gifts will sit on customers' desks quietly
reminding all about a product or service.
Confirmation that promotional
gifts need not be extravagant is that over the
past few years top selling promotional gifts have
habitually been pens, coasters, mugs and mouse
mats.
Pens, coasters, mugs and
mouse mats, have an important advantage over many
other promotional gifts - they sit on a
desk, they're no-nonsense, realistic and useful gifts,
consequently they are in daily use. They are always
visible to staff and company visitors and, above all, are
inexpensive...so you see promotional gifts such as
paperweights, coasters and desk calendars need not be
extravagant.
Outside the traditional top four items of mugs,
coasters, pens and mouse mats there are numerous other
promotional gifts to suit most marketing
opportunities and pockets.
Effective promotional gifts
Undoubtedly, promotional gifts, advertising
novelties and corporate clothing are amongst the more
effective and economical ways to keep your company name
alive in the marketplace but there is none better than
those that have stood the test of time…desktop
promotional gifts.
Even the most commonplace items such as pencils,
pencil sharpeners and erasers are effective as
promotional gifts or advertising novelties and are used
quite frequently as part of a mailing package...and
perhaps now you'll now appreciate that promotional gifts
need not be extravagant.
Promotional gift ROI
Investing in cost effective desktop promotional
gifts is an in expensive way to advertise your product or
service...and it's quite easy to quantify if the
promotional gift is a cost effective proposition,
especially on the more economical desktop
variety.
Assume you invest in an inexpensive corporate
gift, say, 500 lightweight aluminium coasters, printed
with an eye-catching four-colour advertising message, for
round about 88p each. There are something like 212
working days in a calendar year and let's assume your
coaster is on a customer's desk each day reminding all
the staff along with visitors to the office of your
product or service. Therefore, 88p divided by 212 days is
less than one halfpenny each working day to remind all
who come into the office of your company and its products
or services.
Even if the coaster is only on the desk for half
the year - cost less than one penny - this desktop
promotional gift is still an extremely economical
approach to advertising and superb value.
Looks like a great ROI deal to me!
