Personalisation methods of promotional gifts

The different personalisation methods associated with branding a gift is incomprehensible to many buyers of promotional business gifts. Many diverse processes are used even on commonplace items as promotional coasters, conference badges or advertising paperweights; in this sense, personalisation means branding the gifts with a logo or sales message.

Some buyers find it frustrating that there are personalisation methods suitable for each business gift but they should make an effort to grasp the mechanics of personalisation of promotional gifts...because this means, if more than one product is ordered, there may be different origination charges for each business gift.

For example, promotional coasters are an extreme popular promotional gift and here the different  personalisation methods can be quite bewildering; an aluminium promotional coaster can be branded in many different ways. You can buy a screen printed advertising coaster, a sublimated promotional coaster, an etched coaster, an engraved coaster, an embossed coaster, a pad printed coaster or a transfer printed coaster...and that's just an inkling of the possibilities on aluminium advertising coasters before you even consider all the other possible substrates for other kinds of promotional coasters.

It’s not necessary to be an expert in the various forms personalisation methods of business gifts – but it’s undoubtedly helpful to grasp the essentials of the different processes used in personalising promotional gifts.

These processes include:

Die Stamping
Digital Printing  Embroidery  Engraving  Etching  Off-set Litho

Pad Printing  Screen Printing  Sublimation  Transfer Printing  Weaving

However, on many occasions the personalisation methods needs a person’s name to be part of the message as well as the company logo. Traditionally, this was usually restricted to hand engraving as is still seen on promotional pens in some department stores. But, with the rapid advancement of digital technology, it is now commonplace to produce various one-off, personally named promotional gifts, in full colour – including: conference badges, employee name badges, china or earthenware mugs, aluminium promotional coasters, glass paperweights, crystal paperweights, plaques, desk nameplates and many other distinctive corporate gifts.

So now you know much more than the average person about How Business Gifts are Personalised.
