Desktop Promotional Gifts

Unquestionably, desktop promotional gifts, corporate gifts, advertising gifts and corporate merchandise are among the more successful and cost-effective ways to highlight your company name and keep it prominent in the marketplace.
And none better than those business gifts that have stood the test of time…the desktop promotional gifts.

Those business gifts that sit on the desk day after day, week after week and month after month…. acting as a silent salesperson endlessly projecting a company image to all who come into the office.

And this is why normal office products, such as coffee coasters, paperweights, clocks, mouse mats and calendars, branded with a promotional strap line and company telephone number, are successful desktop gifts…when parked on a customers desk quietly reminding them about products and services right the way through the year.

Desktop promotional gifts used like this are a most reasonably priced part of a direct mail promotion. Simple office bits and pieces such as desk pads, ball pens, pencils, erasers, rulers and air-fresheners are useful promotional items to support any mailing package.

Anyone who has done the necessary tests will confirm that a direct mail campaign featuring a desktop promotional gift item, however inexpensive, out-performs a campaign without a promotional item…and sometimes by as much as 100%; thus proving the value of desktop business gifts and promotional items.

So, if the fabulous advertising promotions of the large corporations are out of reach you can, at least, run a regular cost effective mail campaign to your own user base. Certainly, once a quarter should be a minimum requirement - or once a month if you can afford it. That's if you want to retain the bedrock of your business…the customer base.

The costs are not unreasonable, as you will see from one or two examples. Say you invest in a reasonably priced corporate gift, say, 500 lightweight aluminium coasters, printed with an attention-grabbing advertising message in full colour, for around 88p each.

There are roughly 212 working days in a year and imagine your advertising coaster sits on a customer's desk each day quietly reminding them of your product or service.

Therefore, 88p divided by 212 days is less than one halfpenny each day to remind all who enter the office of your company and all it stands for.

Even if it is only on the desk for half the year, this promotional gift is still "an easy on the pocket" approach to advertising…in fact it looks like a great ROI deal to me!

Consistently the most popular desktop promotional gifts are Pens, Coasters, Mugs and Mouse Mats…but not necessarily in that particular order. But you don't have to follow the herd; there is an abundant choice of promotional items to suit every pocket and occasion. Certainly enough to be a little different and still not spend a huge amount of the advertising gift budget.

Here are some suggestions that you might consider…and most are portable enough to include within a mailing package: Coasters, Aluminium Coaster, Acrylic Coasters, Leather Coasters, Calendar Coasters, Melamine Coasters, Mouse Mats, Plastic Mugs, Note Pads, Paper-clips, Pencils, Pens,  Rulers, Letter Opener, Paper Clip Holder, Post-It Note Pad, Pencil Sharpeners, Erasers, Highlighters...all excellent examples of Desktop Promotional Gifts.
