Desk nameplates photo gallery

Desk nameplates have been around for a very long time and come in many different materials, shapes, sizes and colours. It is quite common in various locations to see desk nameplates made from PVC, acrylic, carved wood, aluminium, brass, steel, slate or even stone or crystal; it all depends on your requirements. The actual name and information on the nameplate can be inscribed in any number of ways and these include printing, etching, engraving, and carving or, perhaps in an emergency, hand writing.
The most basic form of desk nameplate is that seen at company meetings where a computer generated A5 piece of card is folded in half and, for that particular occasion, makes an acceptable name plate providing information of name, company and title.
Desk nameplates made by Stewart Norman Associates are usually a two piece product made up of a name plate holder and a replaceable metal name plate although aluminium nameplates can be supplied independently.
Wooden Desk Nameplates
The traditional nameplate holder was a solid piece of triangular hardwood with a brass plate, generally engraved or etched, and permanently bonded to the wooden holder. In the days when desk nameplates were engraved they were more often than not restricted to three or four typestyles and it was uncommon to see a logo or full colour even on executive desk nameplates.
However, we live in a fast movinf world and colour printing on all kinds of substrates is universal and so the modern office desk name plate can now be printed in full colour, have a company logo and be printed in any typestyle.
So gone are the days when an engraved nameplate had to be black on brass. However, if you still want the time-honored triangular hardwood custom desk nameplate, and many companies still do, there is an excellent choice…and all from renewable managed forests. You can choose your wooden nameplate holders from mahogany, light oak, walnut, cherry or black ash and all with one major advantage over the old style desk nameplates for business…the plates can be simple slide-in and are replaceable.
Anodized Aluminium Nameplate Holders
Anodised metal name plate holders come in either gold or silver either as an "L" shape or as a sloping style. Additionally, aluminium name plate holders are supplied as an “A” shape that allows a message on one side and the usual name plate information on the reverse. Substitute employee name plates can easily be inserted into existing office name plate holders which means an economical item with a long shelf life.
PVC Nameplate Holders
If you want a long lasting and economical employee name plate holder look no further than the range of plastic desktop nameplate holders in grey, white or black complete with replaceable slide-in metal name plates; a perfect match between cost and effectiveness. Often used as an "L" shape although when inverted it becomes an “A” shape and therefore a double name plate holder.
Although often sold as desk nameplates the holders have other uses and are frequently seen providing company tag lines or motivational statements. Whatever the use you’ll find our range of desk nameplate holders to be a worthwhile investment.
